Liberty Mountain
Ultralight Group Shelter for Alpine & Climbing Basecamp
When weight matters, and space is critical, the Peregrine Boreal 4 delivers a serious shelter solution for climbers moving fast in the mountains.
Designed as a 4-person floorless ultralight tent, the Boreal 4 is ideal for alpine climbing objectives, ski-mountaineering teams, minimalist basecamp setups, and backcountry missions where versatility and pack weight matter more than campground comfort.
At just under 3 pounds total weight, this shelter provides a generous 77 square feet of covered space — enough for a rope team of four with minimal gear, or three climbers with racks and overnight kits. The floorless design makes it especially practical for snow camping, cooking setups, or staging gear beneath the shelter after a long day on route.
Built from durable 20D ripstop nylon with PU/silicone coating and fully seam-taped construction, the Boreal 4 offers reliable weather protection without unnecessary bulk. The 8-sided design stakes out quickly and evenly, while the included aluminum center pole creates a stable and spacious interior.
For extended missions, optional half or full bathtub footprints can be added to convert it into a more traditional ultralight backpacking shelter.
